STATEMENT OF WORK
FOR
1 SOMXG GSA Vehicle Modification
1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. Provide all management, tools, equipment, supplies, and labor necessary to ensure that services are performed at Contractor Facility. The contractor shall accomplish all Vehicle Modification to meet the requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW).
1.1.1. Description of Service Tasks. Contractor will install Duratherm or equal paneling roof panels, wall panels, rear and side door panels, and Stabigrip or equal floor panels. Install WebPromaster Rear R134A refrigerant HVAC Unit or equal install all wiring fuse pack, blower relay and dash switch and refabricate A/C Hose Assembly. Install Aluminum Bench Seats on left and right sides of the vehicle 2x1/1/8 x 24 sq. Tube aluminum seat cushion, 2” Black Vinyl, per ft. Alum, ¼ x 1/1/8 per ft., Alum Angle Fabricate seat frames without under seat storage and mount to vehicle.
Install LED dual lights onto upper roof beams and install Door Grab Handles.
1.1.2. Vehicle Drop Off. All Vehicles will be dropped off and picked up by the using squadron based on the scheduled work interval.
1.1.3. Inspection of Vehicle. Squadron representative will inspect vehicle condition and modification with the vendor to ensure the equipment installed on the vehicle meets the SOW requirement.
2. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES
2.1. Government Furnished Services. The government shall drop off and pick up all vehicles being modified at the Contractors facility.
3.1. Contractor Personnel.
3.1.1. Contract Manager. The contractor shall provide a contract manager who shall be responsible for the performance of the work. The name of this person and an alternate or alternates, who shall act for the contractor when the manager is absent, shall be designated in writing to the contracting officer prior to the contract start date. The contract manager or alternate shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract. The contract manager and alternate or alternates must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
3.2. Physical Security. The contractor shall safeguard all government property. At the close of each work period, facilities shall be secured. The contractor shall designate a custodian(s) and alternate(s) to receipt for and account for government-furnished facilities.
3.3. Storage Areas. The contractor shall be responsible for safe guarding all vehicle turned over to their possession for modification.
3.4. Work Schedules. The contractor shall submit a modification schedule and will be agreed upon by the Government. The contractor shall not deviate from their approved schedule without prior approval from the Contracting Officer or other Government representative.
3.5. Re-performance of Service. When modification performed does not conform to contract requirements, or when modified vehicle does not performed as required, the contractor shall perform or re-perform the modification service in conformity with contract specifications at no additional cost to the government. Performance or re-performance of these modification services shall commence immediately upon notification by the government. The contractor shall have a sufficient workforce dedicated to ensure corrections are accomplished in a timely manner without degradation to normal scheduled services.
3.6. Government Remedies. The contracting officer shall follow FAR 52.212-4(a), Inspection and Acceptance Clause, for contractor’s failure to perform satisfactory services or failure to correct non-conforming services.
3.7. HOURS OF OPERATION:
3.7.1. Federal Holidays. The following is a list of federal holidays observed by this installation.
New Year's Day, January 1 or the Friday preceding or Monday following Martin Luther King's Birthday, 3rd Monday in January President's Day, 3rd Monday in February Memorial Day, last Monday in May Independence Day, July 4 or the Friday preceding or Monday following Labor Day, first Monday in September Columbus Day, 2nd Monday in October Veterans Day, November 11 or the Friday preceding or Monday following Thanksgiving Day, 4th Thursday in November Christmas Day, December 25 or the Friday preceding or Monday following
