Contractor/vendor Qualifications Work on/for this project shall be completed by technicians with at least 5 years of experience and fully trained and current on repair, rebuilding and service of York absorption and electric chillers. All technicians shall be universally licensed by the EPA for refrigeration maintenance.
All parts used by contractor will be OEM. Disposal of all parts and fluids will be done per EPA standards. All work shall result in a chiller in compliance with York corporate policy for field service of absorption chillers. Non-York contractors shall provide documentation in writing whereby the York Corporation acknowledges that the contractor will provide contract maintenance and repairs service on the chillers as if the work was completed by York.
Technician’s trouble/service call response time for the warranty needs to be less than 24 hours.
Quoters shall provide a list of at least 3 projects of similar size and scope. This documentation is to be provided with the proposal.
