SUBJECT: Pre-Solicitation Notice for 100 Multi-Functional Devices (MFDs) Lease in Italy

Proposed Solicitation Number: SP7000-21-Q-1020

DLA Contracting Services Office – P New Cumberland anticipates issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) solicitation. The RFQ will be for the lease of 100 MFD’s in Italy. The anticipated duration of the contract is up to 60 months.

The estimated solicitation issue date is on or around March 8, 2021. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted. No set-aside will be utilized. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code will be 532420, the size standard will be $35,000,000.00, and the Federal Supply Code (FSC) will be W074. The solicitation will be posted electronically at https://beta.sam.gov/. The anticipated award date of the contract is on or around April 29, 2021.

This solicitation for commercial items will be prepared in accordance with FAR 13.5. The solicitation evaluation method will be Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. Past performance shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 15.305. However, the comparative assessment in FAR 15.305(a)(2)(i) does not apply. Therefore, past performance will be rated on an “acceptable” or “unacceptable” basis. The evaluation criteria will be as follows: Price, Technical Capability, and Past Performance.
