About this file

This file is a survey instrument document designed for data collection and consultation by the South Carolina state education system. The survey collects post-secondary outcome data from high school graduates or students with disabilities, gathering information about their education, employment, and service utilization within one year of leaving high school. The survey captures responses from students, parents/guardians, district representatives, or vendors through telephone interviews conducted by school district representatives. The instrument is structured in three primary sections: education and training participation (including community college, four-year universities, GED programs, vocational training, job training programs, and humanitarian service); employment experience (including job duration, hours worked, hourly wages, work settings, benefits, and advancement opportunities); and support services received from state and local agencies. The survey includes skip logic patterns, exclusion criteria for non-responsive or ineligible participants, and open-ended comment opportunities for additional information sharing.

The survey document does not specify pricing terms, contract amounts, funding sources, or renewal options. No information is provided regarding set-asides, incumbent contractors, bidder meetings, response dates, or contract award timelines. The document appears to be a standardized data collection tool intended to measure outcomes related to South Carolina's special education and workforce development initiatives, likely supporting federal or state reporting requirements. The survey methodology includes up to three contact attempts before concluding non-responsive cases and captures data from multiple respondent categories to ensure comprehensive post-secondary outcome tracking.
