STATEMENT OF WORK
Replace Building 39 Air Handling Unit (AHU) Southeast Poultry Research Lab 6/29/2023
GENERAL
SCOPE OF WORK. This contract is located at the USNPRC at 934 College Station Road Athens GA, 30605. The contract requirements are defined in this Statement of Work (SOW).
The purpose of this SOW is to replace 39 AHU. The scope of work includes the following:
· Replace existing 7.5 ton Carrier package unit, model 48HJR009-H-651—with a single pass unit.
· Size new unit up 1 to 1.5 tons.
· New unit shall be multi-stage.
· Propose a high efficiency unit.
· New thermostat.
· Reconnect existing ductwork. Modify if needed including supply duct insulation.
· Existing breaker is 25A. If proposed unit needs upgraded wire size and breaker it must be included in the pricing.
· Route condensate line away from nearby walkway into grass behind building.
· Startup and test.
PHYSICAL SECURITY. Contractor will be required to follow all USDA physical security and safety rule/regulations.
HOURS OF OPERATION. Normal Hours. The USNPRC is open Monday through Friday from 8am until 4pm except for Government holidays.
GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES
No Government-furnished property will be provided. Government-furnished utilities will be provided where available.
CONTRACTOR-FURNISHED ITEMS AND SERVICES
GENERAL. Contractor shall furnish everything required to perform this Statement of Work.
CLEAN-UP. The Contractor is responsible for cleanup of any work site.
