Statement of Work CEMIRT Diesel Engine Assembly Kit Parts and Equipment

1. PURPOSE: The contractor shall furnish all required parts, equipment, material, and labor to provide the following items in accordance with (IAW) all applicable codes, specifications, and industry/federal standards to CEMIRT at Tyndall AFB, Florida.

2. SCOPE

A. Deutz Diesel Engine Assembly Kit – P/N:D2011L04i - Each: 26 The purpose of this section is to detail the work required to fulfill 26 Brand Name Deutz Diesel Engine Assembly Kits. Each assembly kit must include the following items:

1. Deutz Diesel Tier 4 engine with EGR valve, rated for 63.7 HP @2600 RPM; P/N:

D2011L04i, 24 Volt; EPA NSE Exemption label; OEM Black Paint Finish; 1 Power Take-off (PTO) Package, HSG Size: 4; Clutch Size: 8S (NACD), P/N: 431026AM

2. Starter, 24 Volt, P/N: 4300286 – 1 each

3. Alternator, 24 Volt, P/ N: 103903 – 1 each

4. Shutdown Solenoid, 24 Volt, P/N: 4103822 – 1 each

5. Glow Plugs, 24 Volt, P/N: 1179017 – 2 each

6. LOFA 24 Volt Control Panel with ground pre-heat indication, internal illumination wire harness and no factory wiring harness P/N: EP250KL7. Note: The oil pressure gauge must be relocated from the lower left corner to the center top position on the LOFA Panel.

7. Engine Harness with USAF Spec Relay Sockets P/ N: 24511 – 1 each

8. Exhaust Pipe P/N: 21998 – 1 each

9. Guard, Cooler P/N: 1732 – 1 each

10. Throttle Lever with Mounting Kit (Speed Control) P/N: 1548 – 1 each

11. Aluminum Vernier Throttle Cable, 75 Inches Long P/N: 58028 – 1 each

12. Truck Valve, Lube Oil Drain P/N: 57267 – 1 each

13. Adapter, Oil Drain P/N: 57268 -1 each

14. Timing Control Unit (Relay) P/N: 4219375 – 1 each

13. Slave Relay, P/N: 4271981 – 1 each

14. Wire Harness, Gauge Illumination, P/N: 801-3305-1 – 1 each (Included within LOFA Panel)

15. Lifting Eyes, Engine P/N: 4272035 – 2 each

16. MC Engine Mounts, Flex (2 Front/2Rear), P/N: 22000565

B. Vendor will perform the following actions: Completely assembly engine(s) including all the above listed items with the exception of the lifting eyes. Add engine lube oil to engine(s) and test run to perform quality assurance (QA) inspection to verify operation and correct indication on control panel for all engine safety shut down devices e.g., low oil pressure, high engine temperature.

Ensure all gauges are functioning properly and calibrated; throttle operates freely with no binding;

and D.C. charging system checked. Verify engine preheat system is operational through the preheat controller and indicating properly on the engine control panel. The engine/ PTO must be completely assembled and attached to the engine. The following loose items must be packaged with each engine: 24 volt LOFA Control panel and all the requested manuals. The loose items will be verified and inventoried for packaging/completeness.

C. A copy of the QA test report must be included with each engine. Engines will be filled to capacity with diesel multi-viscosity SAE 15W-40 lube oil or provided separately in DOT approved containers for over-the-road shipment.
