About this file
This document provides an Operations Security (OPSEC) Review Certification form and process for the Detroit Arsenal. The form is used to evaluate whether government information such as documents, videos, briefings or equipment can be released publicly. It requires reviewers from the requesting unit, Garrison OPSEC officer, Installation Anti-Terrorism officer, government contracting officer if applicable, legal office if applicable, and public affairs office to certify the information does not contain anything too sensitive before public release for reasons such as operations security, legal concerns, or security classification issues. The process involves the originator preparing the information, unit review, and then multiple levels of certification before public distribution can be approved. Examples of information not appropriate for public release include equipment capabilities and limitations, mission details, schedules, vulnerability assessments, technical or scientific proprietary data, and information that could reveal sensitive operations or vulnerabilities.
This document also provides details of a federal contract opportunity for a J&A Redaction for Public Release related to contract W911PT23C0019 awarded on September 5, 2023 to an unknown vendor for an unknown amount by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Detroit Arsenal.
