CLIN 0001

The CLIN extended description has changed from RUBBER BLOCKManufacture Rubber Blocks 18-1/2” X 24-3/4” X 2-3/4” thick to the industry specification of ASTM D2000 M2BG610A14B14E014Ordering Data: ASTM D2000 M2BG610A14B14E014 • M – all values stated in SI units• 2 - Grade number; the number 2 means additional requirement are called out in the classification such as A14, B14, and E014• BG – material is polyurethane• 610 – hardness is 60 +/- 5 shore A; Tensile strength is a minimum of 1,450 psi, and Ultimate elongation is a minimum of 300%• A14 – “A” means heat resistance, 14 means ASTM test is d 573 RUN FOR 70 HOURS AT 100 Deg C. However, there are no values for a Grade 2 material. This likely because urethanes don’t change hardness & tensile properties under a test of a short duration like 70 hours.• B14 – “B” means compression set resistance, 14 means ASTM test is D 395 using method B for 22hours, @ 100 Deg C with the following properties called out:- Hardness change, -5 to +10- Max Tensile loss, 25%- Max Elongation loss, 45%- Volume change % -10 to -5 to RUBBER BLOCKManufacture Rubber Blocks 18-1/2” X 24-3/4” X 2-3/4” thick to the industry specification of ASTM D2000 M4BG610A14B14E014Ordering Data: ASTM D2000 M4BG610A14B14E014 • M – all values stated in SI units• 4 - Grade number; the number 4 means additional requirement are called out in the classification such as A14, B14, and E014• BG – material is polyurethane• 610 – hardness is 60 +/- 5 shore A; Tensile strength is a minimum of 1,450 psi, and Ultimate elongation is a minimum of 300%• A14 – “A” means heat resistance, 14 means ASTM test is D 573 run for 70 hours at 100 Deg C. - Hardness, max, points +/-5- Tensile strength, max, % +/-15- Ultimate elongation, max, % -15• B14 – “B” means compression set resistance, 14 means ASTM test is D 395 using method B for 22hours, @ 100 Deg C with the following properties called out: 50• EO14 – “EO” means Fluid Resistance, 14 means ASTM test is D 471 IRM 901 Oil 70 hours, @ 100 Deg C with the following properties called out:- Hardness, max, points, -7 to +5- Tensile strength, max, %, -20- Ultimate elongation, max, %, -40- Volume, % -5 to +5.
