Text version
Specified components for a 2 Channel Flow Injection Nutrient Analyzer, FIA 2000, or equivalent.
1. The detector must be an array spectrometer. Displays the full absorbance spectrum in real time.
2. The system must be able to analyze ortho phosphate, ammonia, and nitrate + nitrite in water or soil extracts.
3. The system must include a module which analyzes ammonia in a phenol free variation of the Berthelot method, not by gas diffusion.
4. The system must include a module which analyzes nitrate + nitrite via cadmium reduction.
5. The footprint must be no more than 30 inches deep and 30 inches wide to fit on available lab bench.
6. The system must use lines made from tubing with an internal diameter of at least 1.7mm to reduce clogging.
7. Throughput for Ammonia (Salicylate) must be >75 samples/hour.
8. Full view of fluid movement in the manifolds is required.
9. The system must include analyzer accessory with absorbance flow cells that provide an up to 100 mm path.
10. The system must include fully redundant pre plumbed channels for the different chemistry methods (each is a 1000 unit). Each channel must have its own power supply, light source, and detector.
11. Must be able to analyze samples while running with different variables, i.e., changing wavelengths.
12. The software must be compatible with Windows 10 or Windows 11.
13. The system must be compatible with and include an Autosampler that holds up to 180 samples.
14. The software must include features such as automated QC/QA protocol to monitor accuracy and precision along with QC limits for each QC check standard (relative and absolute).
15. Will include on site installation and training by a trained technician. Additionally, the system should be serviced by factory authorized US based technicians.
16. The system must meet the “Buy America” statute, the Federal Acquisition Regulation which applies to manufactured end products of small businesses.
17. Package must include 2 year service contract which provides at least one service visit and phone, e mail, or remote desktop support as well as free software upgrades.
