Statement of Work (SOW) Project: Greenhouse flowering spectrum lights
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Scope of Work: Purpose is to procure approximately 20 flowering spectra greenhouse lights for inducing flowering in sugarbeet
2.0 Background: Inducing flowering and is an integral part of the sugarbeet breeding program and current lights are insufficient for producing large quantities of seed.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks: Provide and deliver twenty greenhouse lights with the following characteristics/capabilities:
• Lights should be dust and water resistant
• Lights should be linear to reduce shading effects
• Light fixture efficacy should be 2.7 micromol/J
• Light should cover the flowering spectra, specifically ()
• Light output should be approx. 1700 micromol/s
• Individual lights should weigh no more than 13.5kg

5.0 Deliverables / Schedule: All items must be delivered NLT Sep 1st to 1066 Bogue St. East Lansing, MI 48824.
• Twenty greenhouse lights complete with necessary manuals and attachments
