Technical Specifications
Purchase of a Chemisorption/Physisorption/Gas Sorption Analyzer
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Scope of Work: Vendor is to deliver a new Chemisorption/Physisorption/Gas Sorption Analyzer as identified in this solicitation.
Features, Components, Accessories, Modules, Software and/or Services to be included:
1) Thermal conductivity detector (TCD)
2) Residual gas analyzer
3) Analytical software
4) Windows 10 or 11 PC with 64-bit processor
5) Installation and training
6) Three-year warranty with two service visits.
2.0 Background: A Chemisorption/Physisorption/Gas Sorption Analyzer is required to characterize the surface of solids, particularly of heterogeneous catalysts that have small metal particles on the surface. Surface properties, such as surface area, pore size, and acidity, dictate the activity of catalysts in converting starting materials to products. Therefore, it is important to be able to measure these features.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:
Technical Specifications:
1) 0.1, 10, and 1000 torr transducers with+/- 0.15% accuracy
