SPECIFICATIONS
Purchase of new gel documentation imager
GENERAL
Delivery: US National Poultry Research Center (USNPRC) at 934 College Station Road, Athens GA, 30605.
Requirement: Gel documentation imager. Minimum specifications for the washer include: 1) Compatible with stain-free technology, chemiluminescence detection, and gel strains including ethidium bromide, SYPRO Ruby, Coomassie and silver stains; 2) Compatible with multiple sample trays that can be used for blot/UVstain-free gel and blot applications, fluorescence multiplexing, chemiluminescence detection, Coomassie blude, copper, silver and zinc staining, and for nucleic acid applications with GelGreen or any SYBR stain; 3) smart tray technology for automatic recognition of application-specific tray and adjustment of imaging parameters; 4) auto focus and auto exposure; 5) touch screen; 6) transfer system to perform high-efficiency semi-dry blotting protein transfers
