Text version

The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to questions from prospective offerors.

Question 1: Period of Performance. Can the government please clarify what steps are included in the three-week period of performance? Is the three-week duration for the on-site assessment and penetration testing? Or is the contractor expected to accomplish all pre-assessment and post-assessment reporting within the three weeks?

Answer 1: The selected contractor will be on-site conducting the penetration test/vulnerability assessment during the three week period (in some instances the assessment may not require the full three weeks). The selected contractor is required to meet the due dates established for the deliverables post the assessment.

Question 2: Proposal Instructions. Does the government intend to release Proposal Instructions (Section L)?

Answer 2: No

Question 3: Past Performance. Can the government clarify how it intends to evaluate an offeror's past performance? Will it utilize PPIRS ratings, or should Offerors solicit questionnaires from their customers?

Answer 3: Past performance questionnaire should be completed; customers can provide any additional information they deem beneficial?

Question 4: Evaluation Criteria. How will the government evaluate and compare offerors' approaches to the Technical Requirement?

Answer 4: Internal staff will evaluate all proposals based upon their own experience, standards and industry best practices.

Question 5: System Environment. Can the government provide more information on the system environments to be covered under this proposal - will all of them be enclaves or will some be applications, or a combination of both?

Answer 5: combination of both
