Statement of Work
Project: Provide a service maintenance contract for Sysmex CBC Machine Model XNV1000/XN1000V
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Scope of Work: The USDA Animal Resources Unit (ARU) requires annual service maintenance contract coverage for a Sysmex XN-V(et)-1000 CBC machine, Serial Number 252509/43902. This will cover any calibration and maintenance that requires an OEM qualified Sysmex technician to perform the needed tasks to keep the machine operating, as well as providing 24/7 technical support.
2.0 Background: ARU purchased this unit in FY20 and have been very pleased with the service that we have received while on the manufacturer’s warranty. However, that warranty will expire at the 1-year mark and requires a contract to keep coverage in place for this critical piece of diagnostic equipment.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks
• Contractor will provide OEM trained and certified annual service and maintenance to keep the ARU Sysmex XNV -Vet-1000 to be maintained, calibrated and updated to keep it functioning as originally intended.
• Contractor will provide 24/7 OEM trained and certified technical support to be available to help diagnose and fix any issues that arise during the normal day to day use of the Sysmex CBC machine
• Contractor will provide the Sysmex XNV-Vet-1000 necessary repairs, either on site or sent off site, with a backup equivalent unit to be provided for our use during the duration of the repair timeframe.
• Contractor will use only OEM certified replacement parts should they be required during repair or maintenance of the unit.
• Contractor will provide documentation to support Technicians are OEM trained and certified to perform service and repairs on the Sysmex unit.
• Contractor shall provide, as determined to be required to ensure operation, all responses either via telephone or onsite repair, within 5 business days of notification by USDA personnel.
4.0 Government Furnished: Contractor will be provided escorted access to USDA
Building 3H to provide service or repair the unit should it be required.
5.0 Deliverables/Schedule: Coverage will be included for 12 months from date of award
6.0 Place of Performance: USDA, 1920 Dayton Avenue, Ames, IA 50010
