About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement of ground support equipment (GSE) for NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center.

The primary objective is to obtain a cabin pressure tester device capable of performing cabin pressure tests on small aircraft cockpit volumes, specifically for the X-59 aircraft. The device must utilize air as the working fluid (either shop air or self-generated), include a built-in flow meter, and feature separate canopy seal pressurization and cabin pressurization circuits. The tester must provide rate of climb indication for cabin pressure, maintain a cabin pressurization range of 0-15 psig, accommodate flow rate measurements as low as 10 SCFM, and have a cabin supply output port with a diameter less than 2 inches. The device must be of domestic manufacture. Delivery is required to NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center with an acceptable lead time of 2-3 months.
