About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement of a ground support equipment (GSE) cabin pressure tester device designed to perform cabin pressure tests on small aircraft cockpit volumes, specifically for use with the X-59 aircraft. The device is identified by Part Number 15-7609-6000-FJ and must be of domestic manufacture.
The cabin pressure tester device shall include the following minimum characteristics: air-based working fluid (shop air or self-generated), a built-in flow meter, separate canopy seal and cabin pressurization circuits, rate of climb indication capability for cabin pressure, a cabin supply output port less than 2 inches in diameter, a pressurization range of 0-15 psig, and flow rate measurement capability as low as 10 SCFM. The equipment is to be delivered to NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center with an acceptable lead time of 2-3 months.
