?.## STATEMENT OF WORK
1. Title: Chiller #1 EIS Module Replacement
2. Introduction:
The VA NY Harbor Healthcare System, Brooklyn medical facility’s engineering service requires EIS Module replacement services on Chiller #1.
3. Objective:
The objective of this requirement is to replace the EIS Module within Chiller #1.
4. Place of Performance:
Department of Veterans Affairs Brooklyn campus 800 Poly Place Building #4 (AC Plant) Brooklyn, NY 11209
5. Schedule Services shall be performed during normal business hours (8:00am – 4:30pm). The Contractor should not plan to provide replacement service during observed Federal Holidays unless otherwise scheduled with and approved by the medical center’s POC or designee. If scheduled and approved, it shall be at no additional cost to the VA.
6. Period of Performance June 2, 2025 – June 30, 2025 Lead time on materials shall be provided with quote.
7. Scope of Work:
The contractor shall furnish all parts and labor to replace the EIS Module on Chiller #1. Contractor shall coordinate with engineering staff to ensure Chiller #1 is properly shut down and safe to work on. Once the shutdown of Chiller #1 is verified complete, Contractor shall drain the coolant, disconnect all associated coolant lines, remove old EIS module, install new EIS module, reconnect all associated coolant lines, and refill unit with coolant.
Contractor shall run and test the unit in its repaired state and troubleshoot any issues if the unit is not operational. Upon troubleshooting, if issues are associated with the replaced module, contractor shall fix at no further cost to the government. Contractor shall test the functionality of the new module and ensure that the system is operational to the satisfaction of the HVAC shop supervisor prior to leaving the site.

11. Other Related Services (Not Included in the Scope of Work) Any services not expressly stated in this statement of work are not authorized. No other person, including the COR or any other VA personnel are authorized to request additional work be performed by the contractor. Any additional services performed that are not authorized by the contracting officer will be considered inclusive.
12. Privacy None of the equipment listed within this procurement package will access the VA Network or store any sensitive patient information. Any contractors that will come on site for install will not need access to VA network. All contractors must comply with VA regulation and complete the following training: “VA Privacy Training for Personnel without Access to VA Computer Systems or Direct Access or use to VA Sensitive Information.”
