The National Park Service (NPS), Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) seeks to determine the availability and capability of potential SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED 8(a) SMALL

VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS, and/or WOMAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES for the project below. The Government anticipates a competitive method of procurement. The information received resulting from this market research will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement under one of SBA's socioeconomic business programs.

GOLDEN SPIKE NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK

DOWN-DRAFT TABLE PURCHASE & INSTALLATION

DRAFT SOW

SCOPE OF WORK:

Golden Spike National Historical Park will award a Commercial item contract to provide and install a new 3’ X 8’ down-draft table capable of filtering volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and indoor air re-circulation. The Scope of Work includes the terms and conditions noted within this document.

BACKGROUND:

Golden Spike National Historical Park currently uses a standard bench for mixing paints and other maintenance activities requiring the use of harsh solvents (lacquer thinner, acetone, and chemical resistant polyurethane coatings) and is looking to upgrade this location to better protect employees.

DESCRIPTION:

Provide and install a Downdraft Table, VOC Fumes & Odors, One-sided Downdraft Table, DD-3X8 manufactured by Diversitech or approved equal. The 3′ x 8′ Downdraft Table shall be designed to contain odors, fumes, and especially Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) from activities like spray painting, varnishing, coating, or working with solvents and adhesives. Electrical circuit shall be provided by the contractor to operate the down-draft table (approximately 120 feet from panel to table location). Contractor shall include materials, accessories, components, and appurtenances inside and outside the building to provide a system complete and ready to use.

VOC COMPLIANT DOWN-DRAFT TABLE MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

• Explosion-Proof Motor, Class 1: Group C/D capable of working on 208v

• Exhaust upblast module, afterfilter clamp

• Two CarboTech carbon canister afterfilters, reversible

• 150lbs x2 of extruded activated carbon, w/20mm filter wrap

• Five sets of paint arrestor prefilter pads 16″ X 25″ (10 per set)

• Electrical circuit is approximately 120 feet in length from panel to site. Include lockout device near the table (location to be noted by government representative). Electrical conduit must rise up and over breakaway wall at the rear of the shop so as not to cross over the breakaway wall

• Provide unit with side & back walls

• Avg. Air Flow (CFM) 5050 @ 4″ static pressure

• Avg. Face Velocity (FPM) 330

• Motor H.P. 7.5 totally enclosed air cooled (TEFC)

• Phase (hz) three-phase

• Voltage capable of operating on 208v

• Approximate footprint (in.) 111″W x 39″H x 49″L
