About this file

This justification memorandum requests approval for a sole source acquisition from Notemeal, Inc. to provide a performance nutrition online platform for the Naval Special Warfare Command. The platform will optimize athlete nutrition through mobile meal planning, recipe development, food logging, and to-go order management. It will also provide nutrient analysis of recipes, menus, and meal plans. The platform fully integrates with electronic athlete management systems and other data tools through an open API to increase interface between performance dietitians and users, enable large group meal planning and management, and allow concise data analysis for program-level discussions. The justification cites Notemeal as the only provider of a satisfactory software that leverages modern technologies to centralize and automate dietitian workflows, efficiently deliver personalized nutrition content via mobile apps, and capture compliance and intake data. The Naval Special Warfare Command intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Notemeal, Inc. for $175,000 to provide this platform in accordance with FAR simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items.
