Folsom Sliger Mine Road Security Gates Product Specifications and Design

Specifications

The two gates must include the following specifications:

1. Gates will be of uni-frame design and steel construction that resists sag on installations.

2. The system will install as one piece at a three-foot-deep trench with high-quality, sturdy steel construction, and cast nylon post-swivel bushings.

3. Height will be 48-50 inches above ground level, plus 35-36 inches for the below-ground

(buried) portion of the one-piece structure.

4. Access clearance for each gate will be 16 feet.

5. Gates will be primed and also fully painted with a powder coating.

6. Owner access will be designed and provided with a multi-lock (box usable for up to five locks) that protects locks from the elements and safe from tampering. The combination is changeable to allow a minimum of two locks. Lock housing is tamper-proof, to protect both locks from entry with weapons, hammers, saws, and other tools. The tamper-proof cover that houses the locks allows easy access to unlock the gate without removing the combination lock. Double rail slide latch has greased fittings built-in to make sliding the gate open.

7. Gate arms will be designed to swivel mechanically at the access entrance, and lock on the opening side of the access entrance.

8. The gate hinge rod will be minimum Ø2.00” Solid 4140 Alloy Steel Round or equivalent.

9. Bushings at the points of gate arm swivel will be cast nylon material or equivalent for smooth operation and noise reduction.

Delivery

The gates shall be delivered within 60 days after receipt of order (ARO) to 501 El Dorado St, Auburn, CA 95603. Delivery must be coordinated with the Government POC.
