About this file
This Scope of Work document outlines equipment requirements for the Enteric laboratory, which is receiving funding through a CDC ELC grant. The laboratory requires a microtiterplate reader specifically designed to validate and execute an ELISA assay for Trichinella spiralis detection. The equipment must accommodate 96-well plates with absorbance measurement capability at 450/620 nm wavelengths, utilizing bichromatic measurement with a reference wavelength of 620 nm. Additionally, the plate reader must be capable of processing break-apart snap-off strips. The procurement includes a comprehensive 12-month service and technical support plan alongside a 12-month parts and labor warranty to ensure continuous operational capability throughout the validation process.
The project is contingent upon CDC ELC grant funding, which provides the financial basis for this equipment acquisition. The scope does not specify pricing terms, delivery dates, bidder conference information, or award timelines within this document. The warranty and service plan requirements indicate a focus on sustained equipment functionality and technical assistance during the critical validation phase of the Trichinella spiralis detection assay development.

Scope of work for microtiterplate reader:
The Enteric lab requires a microtiterplate reader to validate and run an ELISA assay for Trichinella spiralis detection. The ELISA microtiterplate reader must be equipped for the measurement of absorbance at 450/620 nm for 96 well plates. Bichromatic measurement using a reference wavelength of 620 nm is recommended. The plate reader must also be able to run break-apart snap-off strips. The plate reader is necessary as the validation process and equipment are being funded by the CDC ELC grant. A 12-month service plan/technical support plan along with a 12-month parts and labor warranty are requested.
