Amendment 0001 to Request for Quotation (RFQ) SB1341-16-RQ-0405incorporates questions received in response to RFQ SB1341-16-RQ-0405. The questions and respective answers are as follows:

Industry Question 1: Is there any provision in the procurement for advance payments/progress payments to the successful vendor?

NIST Response to Industry Question 1: There are no included provisions in the procurement for advance payments/progress payments. Upon conclusion of the solicitation and technical evaluation of all offerors quotations, payment terms will be negotiated with the Contractor selected for award.

Industry Question 2: Attachment A; Section III; Item 15: Has the government identified possible silicon vendors for this device? Can they share the names with the bidders?

NIST Response to Industry Question 1: The Government has not identified particular silicon vendors for this requirement.

Industry Question 3: Attachment A; Section III; Item 14: Does the maximum bounding box dimensions need to be 215 mm wide x 120 mm deep x 180 mm high or is 215 mm wide x 120 mm deep x 200 mm high acceptable?

NIST Response to Industry Question 1: A dimension of 215 mm wide x 120 mm deep x 200 mm high is acceptable if the distance from the center of the crystal packet to the top or bottom of the device is no more than 80mm. In response to this change Attachment A – NIST Requirements Document has been updated. Please see AMENDMENT 0001 Version: Attachment A – NIST Requirements, for updated version.
