Project 2B6K Request for Information Response

Site Visit Response

1. Is it possible for the contractor to be provided with as-builts for the vaults themselves?

We have one print we can provide. Do not know if any updates were made and cannot guarantee print is accurate. Contact Scott Barrett (sxbarrett@bop.gov) or Nick Guzenski (nguzenski@bop.gov) for a copy of the print.

2. Would the COR consider as a benefit to the government installing 4’ Bilco doors on each of the vaults as a part of the project to both make the work proposed and future maintenance of the vaults substantially easier despite a possible increase in overall price?

Please provide quote as outlined in Statement of Work. You may quote the supply and installation of access doors as an option in a separate line item.

3. Will the equipment on site from the prison be assisting the contractor to lower heavier pieces of piping and fittings down into the vaults?

Contractor must provide equipment to lower heavier pieces of piping and fittings into vaults.
