Questions/Answer RFQ-036-4384-11 Crossing House Curtains

1. Where header panel meets roof panel, is this going to require a rubber seal or silicone, or just but it up tight against roof panel ?

Answer: Butt the panel tight up against roof

1. Does the header fiberglass panel require a steel plate at the ceiling for attachment or is just going to be attached to the existing partition frame?

Answer: The fiberglass panel will be attached to the existing partition frame.

1. Is the header plate for the door attachment going to require a stiffener plate like the track Plate?

Answer: The 3’ width of each cubicle is narrow enough that a stiffener plate should not be needed.

1. Steel plate specs call for wire brush & paint but detail states hot dipped galvanized, please clarify.

Answer: The existing partition frames are hot dipped galvanized. The new metal and any damage to the existing galvanized steel shall be wire brushed and painted with cold galvanized paint.

1. Are the doors going to be chain operated, manual operated or electrical operated?

Answer: The spring assist doors should not need an electric or chain opener. The doors will operate on the same principle as a roll up shade used on home windows. When pulled down the shades will come to a stop where they will lock in place. When the shades go up you will pull down slightly and the lock will disengage and the spring will pull the shade up.
