About this file

This document contains responses to contractor questions regarding drawings for a project to upgrade motor control centers at a Department of Veterans Affairs building. The project will replace an existing motor control center with new three-phase panels and install a new unit substation. The contractor responses clarify that one of the replacement panels will have one motor starter instead of sixteen as shown on a different drawing. Ampere ratings are provided for items on two of the drawings. The related federal contract opportunity is a special notice from the VA seeking proposals, with a proposal due date of September 15, 2022, to add an addendum to the original drawings in response to the request for information from contractors.
