REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
42d Contracting Squadron 50 S LeMay Plaza Maxwell AFB, AL 36112
SUBJECT: Request for Proposal, 2024 MAFB BTH OHAS Flight Simulator
All Offerors,
1. Your company, as well as others, is being solicited to provide a written proposal for a dual flight simulator at the Maxwell AFB (MAFB) "Beyond the Horizon" Open House/Airshow (OHAS) taking place on 5-7 April 2024 as described in Attachment 1, Statement of Work (SOW). The objective of this Request for Proposal is to award an entertainment-services type contract for this 3-day event.
2. The objectives of the OHAS are:
a. To inform the public about the mission, capabilities, equipment, training and professionalism of the Air Force and its people. The OHAS shall not take on the character of commercial entities, carnivals, or fairs. The OHAS will not be used as a venue for the display or sale of commercial items, other than those provided for in this proposal.
b. To assist in recruiting efforts.
c. To improve community relations.
d. To promote pride and espirit de corps among military members, thereby positively affecting retention.
e. To generate revenue in support of Services/Morale, Wellness, and Recreation
(MWR) programs and facilities.
3. For consideration, a complete proposal package must be received via email to both Ms. Lauryn Setzer at lauryn.setzer@us.af.mil, and Ms. Tatyana Webb at tatyana.webb@us.af.mil, NO LATER THAN 01 March 2024 at 4:00PM CST.
Proposals must address Attachment 1, SOW. Proposal will become affixed to and part of the resultant contract. Proposals that fail to address the criteria outlined in Attachment 2, Instructions to Offeror and Evaluation Criteria for Award, will be deemed non-responsive and ineligible to be considered for award.
4. Attachments 1, 3, 4, and 5 and your written proposal will constitute the final terms and conditions of the resulting contract from this solicitation.
