USDA Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Region Regional Office Audio Visual Upgrade Project
Solicitation Number 1291S820Q0054
USDA Forest Service Pacific Southwest Region
REGIONAL OFFICE AUDIO VISUAL UPGRADE PROJECT
STATEMENT OF WORK
1.0 Background
The USDA Forest Service has a requirement to perform technology upgrade for six (6) room locations within our Regional Office for audio/visual components. The systems will be installed in four (4) offices and two (2) conference rooms located at 1323 Club Drive, Vallejo, CA 94592. Any work to be performed under this requirement must be coordinated with USDA Forest Service Regional Office.
2.0 Scope/Objective
The USDA Forest Service, Region 5, Pacific Southwest employs approximately 5,000 people in support of conservation. Our Region 5 Headquarters is located on Mare Island in Vallejo and conducts a range of land management activities throughout California. Our leaders need to be able to reach out and collaborate with Forests in California, Hawaii, Guam, and other Pacific Islands using our existing Forest Service Network.
The requirement for the USDA Forest Service consists of conducting replacement of existing audio/visual components in one (1) office and two (2) conference rooms, as well as initial installation of audio/visual components in three (3) offices. The required ultra-high definition audio/visual equipment shall provide all necessary primary and ancillary equipment required to facilitate the use of the government furnished Microsoft TEAMS® collaborative software, including assistive listening devices for the conference rooms. All rooms contain T-Bar style drop ceilings. No floor boxes containing conduits exist currently. Users will bring their own government issued laptop into the meeting to present. No stand alone, dedicated machines will be present.
Additionally, the solution proposed to this order will need to be integrated into the existing network within the USDA Forest Service Building. Access and control of these systems shall be in space occupied by USDA Forest Service. The Government is constrained to using the approved Microsoft TEAMS® software as instantiated on a U.S. Forest Service approved laptop, with associated Operating System image. The vendor shall not provide or propose additional or alternate software, as it would render the completed system unusable/out of compliance under current USDA Forest Service policies.
It is the Vendor’s responsibility to propose and provide the equipment to meet the Government’s requirements for functionality and capability, not solely to provide and install the listed equipment.
