Solicitation No. R16PS01177 Great Cut Dike Pumping Plant Excitation Systems
DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE:
The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement for supplying five excitation systems and commissioning to the Great Cut Dike Pumping Plant.
The Dolores Water Conservancy District (DWCD) provides seasonal irrigation under pressure in southwest Colorado for the Dolores Project, owned by the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) and operated by DWCD. One of the project facilities, Great Cut Dike Pumping Plant, employs five 1,000 horsepower pumps driven by synchronous motors to lift water to the Dove Creek Canal. The objective of this solicitation is to procure replacement excitation systems for these motors, to be installed by DWCD, with commissioning assistance provided by the SUPPLIER following replacement.
The principal components of work consisting of supplying five (5) synchronous motor digital excitation systems as well as field commissioning and training. These excitation systems will be installed by DWCD, while the plant is operational over the summer of 2017.
COMPETITION:
Solicitation R16PS01177 is anticipated to be a small business set-aside and will result in a firm fixed price supply contract. The requirement shall be procured in accordance with Subparts 12 and 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
NAICS AND SIZE STANDARD:
The NAICS code for this procurement is 335312 with a small business size standard of 1,250 Employees.
SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE:
The anticipated release date for Solicitation No. R16PS01177 is June 17, 2016.
The anticipated Quote due date is July 20, 2016 at 14:00 hours local time (MDT).
The solicitation documents for this procurement will be accessible from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov and FedConnect, www.fedconnect.net. It is, and will continue to be, all potential offeror's responsibility to monitor the FBO and FedConnect websites for any amendments, updates, responses to questions and answers, etc. as the Government will not be providing any other methods of information dissemination.
