Text version

1. Do you use the regenerative braking system, or the wet disk braking system?

The BEP prefers the wet disk braking system.

2. Must the overhead guard be 78.5”, or can it be 80.9”?

The overhead guard must be 78.5”, due to the height restraints that the BEP has.

3. It says somewhere you would like a drive-in rack but there are a few options that do not go with the drive in rack such us the battery slide and/or the glass side mirrors.

A drive-in rack will not be needed, due to the fact that the forklift drivers do not load and unload in isles.

4. What is the power in the facility where the forklift battery chargers will be located? 480 3 Phase, 240 3Phase, 208 3 Phase, 208 Single Phase, 240 Single Phase?

The BEP is using 480 3 Phase.

5. Do the walkie hand trucks require power steering?

Power steering is preferred.

6. How many personnel will attend the required training?

It will be approx. 15 employees.

7. Could you please clarify whether this forklift requires side-shift or fork positioner or both?

The forklifts will require both the side-shift and fork positioner.

8. Could you please clarify if this bid requires a fork extension attachment for the “Walkie Counterbalanced or Stand-Up Counterbalanced Pallet Stacker.”
