Performance Work Statement
Overall Objective:
The 266th Range Squadron is requiring the installation of solar equipment at site BD (42.110914,-115.758766).
Location of Work:
Contractors are responsible to their own transportation to site BD in order to complete the installation. The 266th Range Squadron communication shop will escort them to and from the site.
Solar Information:
The installation will be completed by the contractor. They will also supply all of the material for the job and will do the work at site BD.
Service to be Performed:
The service being done consists of installation of the 6 solar panels on top of the metal roof of shelter. They will also run necessary cables in order to supply proper power to the battery banks. They are also responsible for constructing and installing the correct equipment to maintain the power at the remote site.
Contractors are responsibly grounding all electronic devices to insure proper installation.
They are also responsible for the complete installation of battery banks used to preserve the solar energy and provide power for the equipment. Contractors are responsible for properly installing and testing the remote generator service. The remote generator service needs to be able to have remote commands so that we can manually turn it on/off.
Contractors are responsible for picking up all excess material. Contractors are responsible for leaving a detailed diagram of the electronic connection.
Inspection:
After the completion of work, the 266th Range Communication shop will inspect the solar install. We will also get the necessary information from the contractors so that we are able to monitor the equipment to verify that it is meeting the expectations.
Timeline:
The work will be done during the summer so that there is not issues with weather. The installation will be given 5 days to complete the process and have the site operational.
