300 Drones Questions and Answers ***Questions are in black, answers in blue***
Section 4.3:
1) Do the specified combo components already include items that are in the box originally for the Mavic Pro Platinum Combo or must all these items be provided as additional items? For example one of the components is “1 remote control’’ does this refer to the already included remote with the mavic or must an extra one be provided.
It refers to the already included remote.
2) There is also a component that states ‘’ 2 extra batteries’’ I understand this to be 2 extra batteries apart from the one which is included with the drone. Please confirm this.
Correct, these are additional batteries.
3) The components required also ask for the following
3 RC cables (Does this refer to the RC CABLE SLIDER LARGE?)
The three RC cables refer to lighting connector, standard micro USB connector and USB Type-C connector
4 RC cable sliders (DOES this refer to the RC CABLE SLIDER SMALL?)
The four RC sliders refer to two Large RC Cable sliders and two Small RC Cable sliders
4) Regarding the following component:
• 10 extra propellers The Mavic Pro uses 4 propellers at a time. Would the total amount of propellers needed for each Mavic be 14 propellers or would it be 10 more than the spares that are already in the box? Please specify if this number is pair of propellers or individual propellers.
These are not extra propellers, this refers to the propellers already included as part of the combo (10 individual propellers total).
Section 5.5
5) ’’The Contractor must provide five (5) “train the trainer” training courses for a maximum of fifty (50) GOM participants. Each course must consist of a four (4) hour training block for ten (10) GOM participants.’’ Does this mean 5 classes of 10 people or 5 classes of 50 people?
Five classes of ten people
6) “Each course must consist of a four (4) hour training block for ten (10) GOM participants’’ Must flying and maintenance training be provided within these 4 hours?
Yes. Operational use and maintenance must be included.
Section 8.4
7) “Manufacturer maintenance warranty must be applicable for a total of twelve (12) months in Mexico from the time INL Mexico takes delivery of equipment (14 calendar days + 12 months and 30 calendar days + 12 months).’’ Please clarify the time the factory warranty must be valid. Does this mean the warranty must be valid only 12 months after the 300 drones are delivered?
The warranty must be valid 12 months after delivery
Section 9.4
8) “The Contractor must provide a warranty, applicable in Mexico, guaranteeing all equipment for a period of 12 months from the time INL Mexico takes possession of the equipment. In the event INL Mexico detects degradation or damage of any equipment the Contractor, at no additional cost, must replace or repair the affected equipment within 10 business days. ‘’ Does the damage mention only cover internal computer system drone defects as covered by factory warranty or does this include crash or bad use damage?
This is a commercial buy, so it is the standard commercial warranty, which does not include crash or bad use damage.
