Requirements Document: Assembly of Heavy-Duty Expanded Metal Picnic Tables Project Overview The purpose of this document is to outline the requirements for a Contractor to assemble 240 heavy-duty expanded metal picnic tables and 30 heavy-duty expanded metal ADA-compliant picnic tables. The contractor will also be responsible for transporting assembled tables from staging/assembly location to Campground placement/removal locations, and for the proper disposal of old tables and all packing materials.

Scope:

Table Assembly:

· Assemble 240 standard heavy-duty picnic tables.

· Assemble 30 ADA-compliant heavy-duty picnic tables.

Follow manufacturer-supplied assembly instructions for proper assembly.

· Ensure all components are securely fastened.

· Verify that tables are structurally sound and stable.

Transportation and Placement:

· Transport assembled tables from staging location to designated campground locations.

· Place tables in accordance with site locations provided by the National Park Service.

· Coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for final placement approval.

Disposal:

· Safely remove currently installed picnic tables.

· Properly dispose of old tables and associated debris.

· Properly dispose of all packing material associated with new tables.

· Dispose of packing materials in a State or City approved off Park location.

· All equipment, material and waste generated by work of this contract shall be properly disposed of offsite by the contractor.

· Remove waste materials from Project site and legally dispose of them in a landfill or incinerator acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction.

· Except as otherwise specified, do not allow waste materials that are to be disposed of to accumulate on-site.

· Remove and transport debris in a manner that will prevent spillage on adjacent surfaces and areas.

· All affected areas must be restored to their original condition from before the work began. Any damages will be fixed and repaired at no cost to the government.

· Park visitors can be expected to be present during all working hours for the duration of the project. The contractor must consider managing a compact construction site that minimizes intrusion (noise, traffic, material staging, and dust) of visitor activities.

Responsibilities:

· Contractor:

· Assemble 270 tables according to supplied specifications.

· Transport tables from campground staging location and place in NPS approved Campsite.

· Dispose of old tables and debris.

· Adhere to safety guidelines during assembly and transportation.

· Address any questions or concerns related to the contract.

· National Park Service (NPS):

· Verify correct assembly and placement.

· Oversee the project.
