P17PS02022
Amendment 1 Attachment 1
Question #1: The spec for the acrylic vitrine (3/4" thickness with Anti-reflective and UV filtering) is not a readily available product. The minimum 3/4" thickness is very thick; is this for an added security precaution? The Tru-Vue acrylic product has both Anti-reflective and UV properties, but is primarily available in 1/4" material and it is a very expensive option. Other Anti-reflective / UV acrylic products are typically used for framing objects due to the slight distortion created by the Anti-reflective coating.
Please confirm the specified material and thickness for the acrylic vitrines.
Answer: The specification for the acrylic is changed to “Four-sided vitrine, with a minimum thickness of three-eighths-inch acrylic” and delete “anti-reflective coating”.
Question #2: Please clarify the referenced "bottom shelf" is actually the deck of the pedestal.
Answer: Yes, it is the deck of the pedestal.
Question #3: Please provide additional dimensions for the label rails. We understand full width of the pedestal, but how deep?
Answer: Approximately 5 inches high.
Question #4: Would the customer consider doors with glass panels instead of vitrine style construction, acrylic/glass sides?
Answer: No, we don't want doors
