About this file

This is a Cost Point Calculation attachment (Attachment H) for RFP ODMR 2425-0006, which outlines the scoring methodology for cost proposals. The document establishes that the maximum available cost points for this RFP is 18,750 points.

The calculation methodology awards the maximum points (18,750) to the lowest cost proposal, with other proposals receiving points on a prorated basis using the formula: Cost points = (lowest Offeror's cost/Offeror's cost) x Maximum Available Cost Points. The document includes a simplified example using 60 points maximum, where an Offeror X proposing $100 receives 60 points while Offeror Y proposing $120 receives 50 points based on the calculation (100/120 x 60). The attachment includes blank fields for entering the lowest cost proposal, applicant cost proposal, and final point calculations.

COST POINT CALCULATION

The total maximum cost points for this RFP are 18,750. The applicant with the lowest cost proposal will receive the maximum point allotment. The remainder of the proposals shall receive points on a prorated basis as follows:

Cost points = (lowest Offeror’s cost/Offeror’s cost) x Maximum Available Cost Points = Offeror’s points

Calculation example:

Maximum cost points= 60 Offeror X proposed cost = $100.00 Offeror Y proposed cost = $120.00

Offeror X has the lowest cost and would receive the maximum of 60 points.

Offeror Y’s cost points are determined by dividing Offeror X’s cost by Offeror Y’s cost and multiplying by 60 (100/120 X 60) = 50 points
