National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) RFQ: NTSBQ110010 – Amendment 01
Questions & Responses
1. Question: The RFQ states that the contractor instructors will travel to two accident sites to observe investigators as they conduct interviews prior to developing the course materials. How many days will the contractor instructor(s) remain at each accident site to observe investigators as they conduct the interviews?
NTSB Response: The NTSB anticipates that two (2) to a maximum of three (3) days of observation per trip will provide the contractor with enough material to satisfy paragraph 3.1 of the Statement of Work.
2. Question: In regard to RFQ NTSBQ110010, what is the maximum funding level allocated?
NTSB Response: The NTSB is not publicizing an estimated price range for this requirement.
3. Question: Would you please tell me what the current contract amount is for the Witness Interview Training Solicitation NTSBQ110010?
NTSB Response: This is a new requirement and, therefore, no contract is currently in place to provide this training.
4. Question: We would like to request, on behalf of everyone, that the due date be extended a few days. We are finding that past performance personnel are on extended Easter holidays and it is making it difficult to achieve the requirements. Thank you for your kind consideration.
NTSB Response: NTSB receipt of completed past performance questionnaires by the RFQ quote submission deadline is not a requirement for consideration for award. If the NTSB does not receive the completed questionnaires soon after the RFQ quote submission deadline or by the time it begins the evaluation of quotes, the NTSB will seek out the past performance information by contacting the contacts listed in the quoter’s Training Experience information.
However, in light of this request, the NTSB hereby extends the due date and time for receipt of quotes to Friday, April 29 at 5:00pm EST.
