STATEMENT OF NEED FOR SUPPLY
Requisition #: NRMJ3000-16-00797
PURPOSE:
CSD is constructing a new flight-capable time of flight (TOF) chemical ionization mass spectrometer instrument for operation aboard research aircraft, including the NOAA WP-3D for the FIREX project in 2018. This requires the purchase of a pressure controller to regulate instrument pressures independent of altitude during flight.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
We require the following pressure controller:
Quantity
Component
Approximate full scale range, sccm
1
Digital automatic pressure regulator with piezo valve
5000
Additional consideration will be given to components with the following attributes:
· flight-proven aboard research aircraft
· compression-type fitting options
· Compact form factor, flexible orientation, and type of input cabling
· Software-configurable multi-gas and multi-range settings
· Overall ease of integration into the flight TOF instrument
DELIVERABLE SCHEDULE:
Additional consideration will be given for shorter delivery times after order is placed, but delivery 10 weeks ARO is required to meet mission deadlines.
