About this file

This combined synopsis/solicitation requests proposals for the purchase of two custom research hot cells and an electrical cabinet. The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) requires the hot cells to expand radiochemistry development and synthesis capacity. The hot cells must be custom designed and fabricated to NIMH's specifications, including motorized lead doors, windows, shelves, lighting, gas and electrical connections to support automated radiosynthesis. Proposals are due by May 25, 2020. The award will be a firm fixed price contract. The successful bidder must construct the hot cells within six months of award and deliver them to NIMH's Bethesda campus by Fall 2020 following factory acceptance testing. The bid price must include shipping, installation, and storage costs if delivery is delayed more than four months.
