1 Specifications
1.2 can you clarify what 7Vpp means?
7 Vpp” means that the amplifier must be able to put out 7 V peak-to-peak into 50 ohms. The 22 dBm P1dB is a compression spec; this required output peak-to-peak voltage spec must also be met.
2 Specifications 1.3 what does >45GHz bandwidth mean? do they want DC-45GHz? We need from low frequency (200 MHz) to 45 GHz
3 Specifications 1.4 what are the channel desired frequency ranges? Do both channels have to send out equally the same signal at the same frequency or is each channel independently sending a signal at different frequencies at the same time?
Each amplifier channel would need to be completely independent with a separate input and output and different signals. Each amplifier channel must separately satisfy the bandwidth requirement in 1.3 (low frequency 200 MHz to 45 GHz)
Specifications/Tech requirements 1 what are the channel desired frequency ranges? Each channel must have a frequency range from low frequency (200 MHz) to 45 GHz
Specifications/Tech requirements 5
Is the customer asking for 200MHz-45GHz or more in bandwidth? And they want 2 channels that can equally send the same signal on the full frequency range from 200MHz-45GHz?
Each channel must have an operating frequency range from 200 MHz (or less) to 45 GHz (or more) where it meets the specified gain and output magnitude. The two channels must be independent with a separate input and output, and able to handle different signals over the full frequency range
Specifications/Tech requirements 6 What is a Digitizer?
For your purposes, please assume that “digitizer” or “isolation amplifier” means “dual-channel pulse amplifier”, that is, the instrument that we are requiring
Specifications/Tech requirements 8 What do you mean by Isolation Amplifier? Please see response to Question 6
Specifications/Tech requirements 9 Can you advise what SRI software/hardware do you presently have? What does SRI stand for?
We currently use a MD-50-X2-R . SRI stands for Standard Reference Instrument program. The website for this program is: https://www.nist.gov/sri/standard-reference-instruments/sri-6011-josephson-arbitrary-waveform-synthesizer
