Questions and Answers Amendment 1 Solicitation Number: NB480000-16-02493

1. Question: Can you please clarify if the supplier is expected to set-up like a library or set up the capability to enable a resource library for the subscribers ?

Answer: The potential vendor is expected to set up and have the capability to establish or provide access if it exists to a virtual library of industry studies for MEP centers and their personnel to access these studies anywhere and anytime.

2A. Question: Is the supplier expected to host the infrastructure (hardware such as servers, cloud location, application software and other resources like security protection, in addition of conducting the operation/support administration ) of a like a "library resource " for subscripbers, or Answer: The expectation is that the potential vendor would provide access to these studies via the internet and would include establishing username and passwords for user as well tracking use of this resource to NIST MEP.

2B. Question: will the supplier be expected to design, deploy and implement a system to enable the expected capabilities, and then operate/ manage the service for its subscribers? This option is without having to own most of the technology infrastructure but at the most suitable application to enable the service ( like minimum hardware with the adequate capabilities and security) to enable all the orchestration of information and collaboration residing in different locations (multi-tenant locations, other hosted by specific organizations).

Answer: The potential vendor is expected to design and deploy the capabilities to provide access to a range of industry studies and provide assistance to users regarding establishing accounts, passwords, and some training, via webinars, to users providing them with an overview of the resources that are available and how they can be used.
