The routers must include specific components: JPSU-650W-AC-AO-BB power supply, JUNOS-64-BB software bundle, JNP204-CHAS-BB universal chassis base, JNP-FAN-1RU-BB universal fan, and S-MX-4C-A1-C1-P software package.
The technical requirements specify 400 Gbps minimum system throughput, dual redundant power supplies, support for up to 24 10GbE/4 40GbE/100GbE interfaces per chassis, BGP and OSPF routing protocols, firewall filters/ACLs, and stateful/stateless filtering capabilities. The procurement is being conducted as a sole-source acquisition through Juniper Networks with competition among authorized distributors. The solicitation (N6893625Q0056) will be posted on SAM.gov around January 7, 2025, with Yvonne Stockwell serving as the point of contact.
