SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION A - SOLICITATION/CONTRACT FORM

The following have been added by full text:

ANSWERS TO SOLICIT. QUESTION

Q1. The SOW section 1.0 states NAWCWD “intends to procure the Aircraft Launcher Interface Computer (ALIC) Chassis and the associated mechanical assemblies,” and “Listed in Section 2.1 are the applicable drawings for the ALIC Chassis and the associated mechanical assemblies.” Is the intent to deliver just the chassis or the chassis and associated mechanical assemblies?

A1: Deliver the ALIC Chassis and the associated mechanical assemblies.

Q2. In the SOW section 2.1 drawings, states “ALIC Chassis and the associated Mechanical Subassemblies consist of the following drawings (available on CD); however, there are circuit card assemblies (non-mechanical assemblies) listed on the list. Are the CCA’s to be manufactured by the contractor and delivered as part of a kit?

A2: Circuit Card Assemblies (Blank PCB and electronic parts) will not be manufactured by the Contractor and will not be delivered to the Government as part of a kit. The Government will provide the CCAs (without the hardware: Vertical Stiffeners, Horizontal Stiffeners, Flat Springs, Ejectors, Wedge Lock Card Retainers) to the Contractor. The Contractor is responsible to manufacture the CCA hardware and mount them on the provided CCAs for the Government.

Q3. Does Texas Instruments possess the mold and fixturing to support the legacy casting, p/n 295905-1 rev M? Or is it the intention of the USG to have the contractor qualify another supplier?

A3: Texas Instruments does not provide the mold and fixtures to support this contract. The Contractor will be responsible to manufacture the ALICs and associated mechanical assemblies per drawing requirements. The Contractor is responsible to do their own mold that meets the drawing requirements.

Q4. Can the USG extend the response time by 30-days?

A4: No, the proposal submission date will remain the same.
