SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION A - SOLICITATION/CONTRACT FORM

The following have been modified:

INDUSTRY Q&A

Question 1: Does the trailer need to meet the CALTRANS Permit Requirements when loaded with 50 tons?

Answer: It does not need to meet CALTRANS permit requirements when loaded with 50 tons.

Question 2: The height requirements for the trailer and cover exceed the clearance requirement of 144". Please clarify the height requirements.

Answer: The unloaded trailer is required to clear a 144" door where it will be stored. When the trailer is loaded, it shall meet the 120" canopy and the 60" dock height requirement. The loaded configuration will never be stored in the 144" door location.

Question 3: Does the Government require the full 45 page solicitation to be submitted, even if vendors have the Representations and Certifications already included on SAM?

Answer: Please include only the clauses, representations, and certifications that are not already completed in SAM. Also, please refer to clause 52.212-1 (including the addendum on page 40) for further details on the information the Government requires in the quote submissions.

Question 4: The solicitation is protected and therefore, the vendors are unable to type in information on Section B, reps, certs, etc. Is this intentional?

Answer: Yes, the Government is unable to make the solicitation unprotected. Handwritten and scanned fill-ins for the clauses, reps, certs, and Section B are acceptable.

Question 5: Are proposals allowed to be submitted via email?

Answer: Yes, the Government will accept electronic submissions of proposals. Please send proposal submissions to lauryn.hiser@navy.mil and sierra.trepanier@navy.mil.
