N6809319Q0037 Q&A
Q: Is there an incumbent on this contract? If so who is the incumbent, what is the contract number, and what is the total value of the current contract?
A: Yes, there is an incumbent for this contract, however, we are only able to provide their information to vendor that wins this contract. Additionally, no other information regarding the current contract will be provided.
Q: Per the Contract Line Item Number(s) (CLIN), the government is asking for pricing for 2,088 working hours. A person is only paid for 2,080 hours in one year and usually only works 1,864 hours after taking off for vacation, holidays, and sick-leave. How many people is the government looking for the contractor to hire, 2 part-time people working 1,044 hours each? Or only 1 full time person, who will work at most 1,920 hours (if they do not use sick leave)?
A: This position intended for one (1) full time Early Childhood Special Educator. Per section 2.1 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), “services shall be provided for a minimum of 60 hours per pay period and a maximum of 80 hours per pay period during the months of June, July and August and 80 hours per pay period the remainder of the year”. Additionally, as stated in section 2.2 of the PWS, “the contractor will be paid for actual hours worked only”.
Q: Is the government able to provide the labor category that is currently used from the Wage Determination for the Early Childhood Special Educator?
A: No, the government cannot provide the category that is from the Wage Determination; that is up to the contractor so long as it is applicable to the “Early Childhood Special Educator” labor category.
Q: Has the government assigned a plug number for the travel CLIN that all offerors should use since this is a cost reimbursable CLIN? Or does the government want the offeror to propose its own cost for daily travel?
A: The travel CLINs has been amended to indicate 250 miles per month; totaling 3,000 miles per year.
| Q: | Would you like the candidates resume and credentials attached to the response? |
| A: | Resumes and credentials are not required to be submitted with your response. |
| Q: | What is the physical address of the place of performance? |
| A: | Bldg. NH-200, Brewster Boulevard, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547-2538 |
