SOLICITATION NO. N66604-14-Q-2387

MODIFICATION 01

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

1. QUESTIONS: Is this per location?

ANSWER: No, the system will cover three buildings and each building will cover over 10,000 square feet and multiple rooms.

2. QUESTION: What type of interface is needed for the sensors? Are there specifications with any protocols?

ANSWER: Sensors should simply be compatible with the system; we will not be providing sensors.

3. QUESTION: Are we required to provide the sensors or only provision for data inputs?

ANSWER: Yes. The system shall have web-based software that can correlate and process data from all sensors (i.e., a device manager).

4. QUESTION: What web platform has to be supported?

ANSWER: Data must be able to be viewed via a web browser - namely for us, Internet Explorer backwards compatible to version 8.0.

5. QUESTION: What kind of webserver is available or are we providing the Server as part of the application, what security and support is needed?

ANSWER: No webserver required and infrastructure is already in place. Technical support would be required to install the proposer's web applications onto the server and ensure compatibility. The system shall provide a user interface construct such that sensor data processing can be accomplished using an in-house web-based application (for later advanced use).

6. QUESTION: Is this referring to have a Web Service for communication with other applications? Would OPC be ok?

ANSWER: Yes; we would have the need to pass the data from the provided web based application or a web service to our own in house applications. The system shall be able to monitor the following via sensors: temperature, humidity, 60 Hz power availability, water presence.

7. QUESTION: Once again are we providing the sensors?

ANSWER: Yes. For the purpose of future growth, the system shall be able to monitor the following via sensors: 400 Hz power availability, air flow/pressure, water flow/pressure, customized sensors as required for future requirements.

8. QUESTION: How many inputs? What range and what sampling frequency?

ANSWER: Long term, the number of sensors could increase three fold from 150 (so around 450); as an estimate, up to a third may need to be analog. Range would be application dependent, and sampling must be continuous.
