The following items are applicable to this modification:

SUMMARY OF CHANGES (REVISED)

1) The purpose of the subject amendment is to provide questions and answers as follows:

Questions and Answers:

1. Section 8.4 is audible noise. What level is your customer looking for each item? What would be the minimum level?

The specification calls for the Load Bank noise levels to conform to personnel safety standards. Please also review Sections 7.3 E‐G which describes the cooling system design and the requested Option to either have Variable Speed Driven fans or standard cooling fans with operation based on electrical loading of the load bank.

2. Section 7.4 Q. Is there more clarification/details available on high bandwidth phase to ground voltage sensors at input interface?

The high bandwidth voltage sensors for Customer use are provided in Table 2, "Load Bank Sensors". The provided sensor model numbers in this Table are the recommended sensors. The Customer is required to provide these sensors or equivalent sensors.

3. Section 7.2 O. Is there more clarification/details available on no‐load Input Isolation Device?

The purpose of the no‐load input isolation device is to isolate the Load Bank for maintenance and troubleshooting purposes. This component is functionally equivalent to an electrical no‐load disconnect switch.

4. What is the Government supplied input source referenced in 7.2 O. Q. and R.

This is referring to the main electrical source connected to the Load Banks with voltage and power ratings as described in Table 4 of Section 8. This is NOT the auxiliary power source.

5. Is the no‐load Input Isolation Device integrated in the load bank referenced in 7.2 O. Q. and R. a disconnect switch, a circuit breaker or other device?

This component is functionally equivalent to an electrical no‐load disconnect switch.

6. With respect to possible exceptions identified the following are Government recommendations.

6a ‐ 7.3 F. 2. The cooling system would not integrate a variable speed drive.

RESPONSE: Variable speed drives are listed as an OPTION. The vendor can indicate that the OPTION is not available.

6b. ‐ 7.5.1 A. The bus bars would not have an epoxy finish coating.

RESPONSE: UL rating can be met by bus bar spacing or epoxy coating 6c. ‐ 8.1 D. A passive 6 pulse bridge rectifier would not be provided.

RESPONSE: The specification calls for this rectifier to be integrated. The Government recommends that the vendor submit their offer specifically outlining the exception.

2) All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
