About this file
This document provides details on a federal solicitation for an optical transport system service installation in Guam. The Naval Sea Systems Command is seeking an all-or-none requirement to award a single purchase order for installation services of a Nokia optical transport system similar to one currently being installed on Guam. The solicitation number is N6426723Q0031 and quotes are due by the response date listed in the posting. Offerors must be registered in SAM and may electronically submit responses in PDF or MS Word format to the email address provided. The document addresses that Nokia, the manufacturer of the system, estimates only two installers are needed whereas the solicitation lists three in the CLIN schedule. Nokia's quote of two installers for installation services would be acceptable given their experience with similar projects.

March 8, 2023 Question and Answer
Question: What or how should we respond if the installation services quoted do not match up to the
CLIN schedule? For instance, Nokia only quotes 2 installers vs. the quantity 3 listed in the CLIN schedule
Answer: Nokia is the manufacturer of the system, and are currently doing an install on Guam, similar to this system. If they are determining that based on the equipment list and tasking that they only need 2, rather than 3, then quantity 2 installers is acceptable.
