1. INTRODUCTION

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Performance Assessment Department, Code PA44 requires four SEMCO PHTS108A portable telemetry RF simulator and test unit used on the ADVANCED TELEMETRY SYSTEM – CLASSIFIED/UNCLASSIFIED (ATS-C/U) in support of missile testing for various RDT&E projects. The SEMCO PHTS108A is an integral component of our shipboard portable ADVANCED TELEMETRY SYSTEM – CLASSIFIED/UNCLASSIFIED (ATS-C/U). This system will be used to simulate and test the readiness of portable telemetry equipment to support missile exercises. TM data is used in the performance and readiness assessment of Fleet combat systems during these exercises.

2. BACKGROUND

The NSWC Telemetry Systems Branch (PA44) facility at Corona has a requirement to support the missile testing for RDT&E projects at various missile test ranges beginning immediately. In order to meet this requirement, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Performance Assessment Department, Code PA44 requires the SEMCO PHTS108A listed in the specifications to be fully integrated by October 1, 2017 in our ATS -C/U portable telemetry system. The items listed in this SOW are a hard requirement in order to successfully execute the missions on the schedule for this project.
