Contractor.

The Contractor shall not be obligated to provide deliveries on weekends or local holidays (i.e. the Government can only request the Contractor’s best effort in such instances).
The Contractor shall not incur any penalties for failure to be able to accommodate requests for expedited delivery or for failure to be able to accommodate requests for weekend or local holiday deliveries (i.e., the consequences of failure to order products and services in a timelier manner is the Government’s risk); however, the Contractor will remain liable to make delivery as outlined in Attachment 1, Navy Product Support Requirements.
