Questions and Answers

1. Statement of Work states “Emergency/Standby Services FFP Contractor shall correct any equipment problems within (2) business days or within (10) business days if equipment to perform repair is unavailable. Contractor response to any x-ray equipment failure should be performed within 8 hours of notification by PSNS.”

Does this mean the contractor is expected to troubleshoot the x-ray machine within 8 hours of notification from PSNS? Or is providing phone or electronic mail response within 24 hours of notification acceptable? Can more time be given for shipping, transport times, and technician availability when unscheduled services are required?

Statement of work is updated to reflect an emergency response time within 120 hours of parts availability if technician and parts are not immediately available.
