YRBM32 Questions and Answers As of 10/19/2023
Question: Will the YRBM32 be occupied during repairs on the tentative start date of 29 November 2023 with a delivery date of 15 March 2024?
Answer:
Barge will not be occupied during the avail. PoP must end as stated to support scheduled operations.
Question: Can the YRBM32 be towed to the contractor’s facility?
Answer:
It is possible that the barge can be towed to KTR’s facility, however the vessel must be returned by the planned delivery date of 15 MAR 2024 in order to support scheduled operations at PHNSY & IMF. If the KTR prefers the barge to be towed to their facility, the KTR will be responsible for any and all costs associated with towing the vessel to and from the KTR’s facility.

Question: Will the Government be providing all services required to perform scope of work or will the contractor be responsible to provide all services needed? Examples of services:
Blue houses (porta potties) for the workers Electrical to power equipment (welders, lights, blowers, etc.)
Air (120 PSI for equipment, etc.)
Crane support Forklift support Water
Answer:
Power, air, and water will be provided by the barge program as needed. Crane, forklift, and any other temporary services needed to complete the work items shall be provided by the contractor.
Pricing for such services should be included in their proposal.
